Our three-day hands-on workshops are designed to focus on research execution and thesis crafting. They are targeted at doctoral practitioner students, which are enrolled in either PhD or Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programs, and that are carrying out research in their work environment. The workshops support you in ensuring your doctoral research is on track and executed as planned. Each participant can expect tailored advice and support on the development of their research project and pathway/s towards its successful execution. Participants will also have the chance to learn from the research projects of their peers. All participants will be provided with both one-on-one and group sessions to maximise individual feedback and guidance.
To maximise results for each participant, workshops will be limited to 2 to 6 participants. One tutor for two to four participants and two tutors for four to six participants will be sourced from our pool of primary and guest tutors with whom we regularly engage.
Participants are expected to make significant advances on their thesis research during and after these workshops. To achieve this, it is imperative for participants to have already identified their workplace-based problem or issue that will approach as part of their doctoral research. Participants are expected to bring to the workshop their most recent thesis draft, as well as collected data, and analyses already carried out till date. Participants will work through their thesis during the 3-days so to advance to the next stage of their research.
